| I've noticed some alliances have fortresses - does anyone know what these are, what they do or how we can get one? | |

| From what i found out on pocketempiresonline.com/forum a fortress is a captured county, metropolis, or capital. However i did not see what they did for the alliances who have captured them. | |

Im sure you didnt see it because there isn't any advantage yet... but when PVP comes, perhaps these forts will become hubs for resource storage. Perhaps a resource bank allowing alliance members the ability to deposit and withdraw a certain amount based on position in the alliance... wishful thinking I'm sure, but it would be a nice feature.

Hopefully that does work out that way.

| My boy Sunoh has the only Fortress for our alliance so far. I am picking one up this weekend. We have been combining our troops at one base and then conquering the county. I will post again if we succeed again. | |

| What are you using to conquer them? I might build up some troops and have a go myself. | |

| I used 1 million bowmen, 600,000 lizards, 600,000 widows, 5k reapers, and 5 k ballistas I think. Plus some random militia and swordsmen. They were negligible though. Just sent them with the rest because I had them.
The thing about conquering counties though is each attack is cummulitave. So if you wipe out half the defenses on one attack. They are permanantly gone. So when you return the defenses are already depleted. So if someone has already made a run at the county you are trying to conquer, there could be significantly less defenses than another county somewhere else

| I used way less troops than you, but I had to make two runs. We are confident that NastyAl and I will conquer another County this weekend in one run. After that we have our sights set on a metropolis. Wish Us luck. | |

| I'm spending millions of resources and tons of health building up my army in preparation for a run on myh county here, before someone else gets it. I want to set up a hub where I'm at to help other alliance members with resources and troops. Currently I've got:
14000 bowmen 1000 reapers 600 lizards 800 prawns
Its nothing in comparison, but I'm working my ass off trying to get there.

| No luck, I knew the defenses before I conquered it. Easy Cheesy. We have less troops than that going after the next county too, if we fail, then I'll concede that I had some luck. Otherwise, its skill baby! | |

| work on some Fallen, reepers are nice, but the fallen helped me out the most.. I have about 6k now. Cyclops are great because they are slower and can take a Reaper in 1 on 1. The reapers pierce and the cyclops brunt attacks. The brunt hits for 10% vrs fortified and the pierce only does 1%. Even with more health | |
